The Flockan support half-roll: for traditional techniques and the Bobath method
The Flockan positioning half-roll is not only suitable for traditional techniques to support the patient’s neck, hips, legs and arms, but – as it's firmer – it can also be used in special positioning techniques, such as the Bobath method. This method helps, in particular, patients who suffer from cramps or spasms, where their muscles involuntarily contract and can't relax. Firmer support cushions, such as this half-roll, can inhibit or even prevent spasms. They are also beneficial for patients with perception impairments, because firmer positioning cushions can more easily be felt as they press against the body. Made of closed-cell polyurethane, the half-roll is easy to clean and disinfect.
