The Sport-Thieme 5-part "Original" vaulting box: an important piece of apparatus for any club
The solid Sport-Thieme "Original" vaulting box is made from solid softwood, making it especially strong and long-lasting. The top and edges of the box are padded with a high-quality composite foam and covered with real leather. To increase the stability and durability of the vaulting boxes, the corners have double dovetail joints. All vaulting box sections have plywood mortise and tenon joints, allowing them to be stacked. These are screwed to each section. The surface of the vaulting boxes is very smooth and has a clear varnish finish. Both base feet are made from hardwood and have non-marking rubber caps.

Individual height adjustment
The 5-part vaulting box has 3 middle sections. These measure 150x50x20 cm and by removing or inserting one of these middle sections, the height of the vaulting box can be increased or reduced by 20 cm. The maximum height of the box is 110 cm. The minimum height is 50 cm. Just put the top section directly on the vaulting box base.
With cut-outs for swivel castors
All vaulting box sections are fitted with additional double bolted multiplex guide bars on the inside. The sturdy base has non-slip non-staining rubber feet. To make it easy for even children to move vaulting boxes, we recommend the optional swivel castors. The cut-outs required for these are standard to all vaulting boxes.
The vaulting box top section has cut-outs on both sides for hanging gymnastics benches. The Sport-Thieme gymnastics benches come with end hooks ensuring safe and secure hanging to other equipment. In the top section of the box there are additional Vario cut-outs (approx. 36 mm wide) at a distance of approx. 400 mm. This makes it possible to attach other Vario equipment such as bars and Vario climbing ladders. These features allow the boxes to be used in other ways in addition to their traditional function.
