An effective workout
Fitness training with a skipping rope is one of the most effective ways to build and maintain stamina and coordination. Skipping also increases speed, aids weight loss and ensures efficient fat burning. Together with a healthy diet, skipping is the quick way to a fit and slim body. Since skipping uses almost every muscle in the body, it is used for training in many different sports. Another advantage: you can train at any time and almost anywhere with the skipping rope!
How do you skip correctly?
Step in front of the rope, hold the arms slightly bent beside the body and let the rope swing out from the wrists. Do not swing your arms; hold them still next to the body. Make sure that you lift your feet only slightly from the ground. Allow the rope to pass beneath the soles of your feet. Make very small steps with your feet. Alternately move the tip of each foot forwards. When skipping, always move the feet gently backwards and forwards. Always land on the ball of your foot while the other foot is still off the ground.
