The lightweight foil mirror: check your positioning
The lightweight foil mirror is a must-have in ballet schools, dance studios and gyms. It is extremely versatile as it can be mounted almost anywhere on the wall or ceiling, meaning you will always have the best view to check your positioning. The foil mirror has a high-quality, mirrored polyester film stretched over an aluminium frame. The reverse side consists of a very light polyurethane foam panel, making the mirror both lightweight and sturdy. Thanks to its construction, it is quick and easy to mount the mirror. We recommend combining several mirrors by joining the concealed aluminium frames via support rails. When mounting the mirror on the wall, we recommend using handy support rails to slide it in.Product information:

With or without a back panel?
A mirror is particularly useful in ballet when you are learning new choreography. It's also great for working out to make sure you are doing your exercises correctly. But what's better: a mirror with or without a back panel? If the mirror is being mounted on the wall, you don't need a back panel. The main advantage of a back panel is that it provides a more secure hold during assembly and cleaning. Both versions with or without a back panel are equally as stable.
What are the options for attaching my mirror?
This mirror can be attached in 2 ways – either by using support rails or eyelets.
How many metres of support rail should I order for my lightweight foil mirror?
This mirror is slotted into a support rail at the top and bottom. You therefore need a support rail that is double the width of the mirror. So for a mirror that is 1 m wide, you would need 2 m of support rails.
Attaching the mirror using eyelets
For this method of attachment, 2 eyelets (with a diameter of approx. 2 cm) are riveted to the aluminium frames on each long and short side, giving you the choice of hanging the mirror landscape or portrait. If you want to mount the mirror to the ceiling, rivet the 4 eyelets into the mirror in each corner. Ceiling mounting is only possible for mirrors without a back panel.
