Sport-Thieme "Standard" posts: for safe ball-stop fences
The Sport-Thieme "Standard" posts are designed for erecting ball-stop fences. Made of alloyed aluminium, the posts are low-maintenance and they boast maximum weather resistance. They are manufactured to last and will neither bend nor warp. They can either be inserted into ground sockets or be set in concrete. The posts can be used to set up ball-stop fences in a straight line or at right angles – simply adapt them to the desired length.
Important installation information
The posts should be installed 5 m apart. Don’t forget to order the accessories required. When using 4 or more posts, a crosspiece must be attached at the beginning and the end for improved stability. The load will then be transferred across both of the last two posts. For suspending the fence, we recommend you order the steel rope and use it to secure the netting at the top and bottom. This will make your ball-stop fence more secure.
