The ball covering is manufactured to a special process and is non-porous, making storage for long periods of time possible. The balls provide a very good grip, the level of which can be controlled by rubbing with 400 grade sandpaper. This product has WV certification and is made from rubber, with a patented vulcanised rubber valve.
„Can this valve be changed?”
The patented rubber valve is not exchangeable as it has been vulcanised.
„Can this ball be used for back exercises?”
No, this ball is too small for back exercises. Normally Pezzi or Gymnic ball are used for back exercises.
„Do the WV gymnastics balls have a valve to let air in and out? Do you have similar rubber balls but bigger in diameter?”
WV Gymnastics balls have a "lip valve". This means you can adjust the air pressure to suit your needs. We do not have any bigger rubber balls, the larger balls are the Pezzi or Gymnic balls.
„Are the rubber WV gymnastics balls suitable for use in water gymnastics?”
Yes, the rubber WV gymnastics balls are suitable for water gymnastics.
„Is it possible to remove the valve to let the air out after doing gymnastics? If not, is there a similar sized ball that will work this way?”
WV balls have a vulcanised valve, which cannot be changed. Gymnastics balls basically will not let air leak out as it is to cumbersome. Maybe Over Ball, article number 611091609, or Redondo Ball, article number 611760037, might suit your needs.
